Dr Alexandra Davies

Dr. Alexandra Davies is a compassionate and dedicated dentist who has expanded her practice to encompass an integrated approach to dental and facial health. Graduating from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry in 2014, Dr. Davies has continually pursued advanced training to broaden her expertise.

Advanced Training & Special Interests

Dr. Davies has completed mini-residency programs in TMJ dysfunction with esteemed clinicians Dr. Steven Olmos and Dr. Damian Teo, gaining advanced expertise in diagnosing and managing craniofacial pain, sleep-disordered breathing, and airway-related concerns. She is an active member of the Spencer Study Club, engaging in ongoing professional development in dental sleep medicine and TMD. As part of SleepWell AU/NZ Education, she collaborates with a multidisciplinary network to deliver innovative, evidence-based care.
In facial aesthetics, Dr. Davies has pursued extensive continuing education since 2019 to refine her clinical skills and anatomical understanding. She is an active member of IA Patrons, Aesthetics Mastery, and AMET, and regularly attends advanced workshops and conferences, including the Non-Surgical Symposium (NSS) and ASAPS Anatomy for Injectors (AFI).

At Admire Dentistry, Dr Alexandra Davies works alongside Dr Hannah Wantrupp-Lock to support patients seeking facial aesthetic services. With combined experience in aesthetic medicine and dentistry, they provide individualised care focused on facial harmony and overall wellness. Treatment options may include wrinkle treatments, volume restoration, and bioremodelling—delivered with an emphasis on education, informed consent, and natural-looking outcomes. Each plan is tailored to complement oral health and facial features, ensuring safe, ethical, and integrated care.

Philosophy & Personal Background

Originally from Samford, Dr Alexandra Davies founded Admire Dentistry with a vision to deliver dental care that supports overall health and wellbeing. She is dedicated to providing transparent, compassionate, and individualised treatment—especially for those with dental anxiety or in need of complex care, such as root canal therapy. Outside the clinic, Dr Davies values a healthy, active lifestyle and time outdoors. She’s a regular at Samford ParkRun (with Admire as a founding sponsor) and proudly supports Samford Stingrays and Samford Valley Pony Club—both of which she was a member of during her school years.

Esther Ussher

Oral Health Therapist

Esther graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 and has been working in private dental practices on Brisbane’s Northside ever since.

Esther loves working with people and helping them to achieve oral health through prevention and personalised care. She is fascinated by the oral-systemic link and truly believe oral health enhances overall well-being.

Esther aims to provide a comfortable and positive experience at every appointment and guides her patients with gentleness and care towards their own dental health goals.

Esther has 2 daughters and in her spare time she enjoys gardening, yoga, the beach and camping trips with her family and friends.

Sarah Gollagher

Ferny Hills born and bred, Sarah’s passion for dentistry began during her orthodontic treatment in her teens. After graduating from Ferny Grove High, Sarah began working as a dental nurse and decided her true calling was as a dental hygienist. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 and began her career working for the Department of Defence before moving into private practice in 2011.

Sarah’s focus is on prevention and education. Her goal is to empower her patients so that they can achieve and maintain the best possible oral health for life. Sarah is a caring and gentle hygienist whose aim is to make each visit an enjoyable experience.

In her free time Sarah can be found spending time with her two sons, hiking, attending a pilates class or exploring Brisbane and the surrounds looking for new restaurants to eat at or adventures to try.

Dr Hannah Wantrupp-Lock

Dentist | Facial Aesthetics Master’s in Aesthetic Medicine

Dr. Hannah Wantrupp-Lock is excited to join Admire Dentistry in Arana Hills, offering her expertise in facial aesthetic injectables. A graduate with distinction in Dentistry from Griffith University 2009, Dr. Wantrupp-Lock is known for her precision and dedication to patient care. With the qualification of Masters in Aesthetic Medicine (Distinction), she provides expert injectable treatments tailored to each patient’s needs. When undergoing Masters study, Dr Hannah’s dissertation focus was safety of dermal fillers and management of complications. Dr Hannah has been providing facial injectable treatments since 2019. Her comprehensive understanding of facial structure, paired with a commitment to staying at the forefront of aesthetic techniques, ensures natural and refined results for every patient.

Growing up in Cedar Creek, Samford, Dr. Hannah has a strong connection to the local community. In fact, she grew up next door to Dr Alex and attended primary school together.

Patient education is a priority for Dr Hannah. She welcomes patients for a comprehensive consultation and treatment planning discussion to determine what is suitable for each individual.

Dr Mahdie Amin Nia

With over a decade of experience in general Dentistry, Dr Mahdieh is passionate about delivering high-quality care with a personal touch. She believes in the importance of patient education and takes the time to ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable and confident in their treatment.

Dr Mahdieh is skilled in all areas of general dentistry and is known for her gentle manner, attention to detail and commitment to long-term oral health. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a more complex procedure, her focus is always on creating a positive and supportive experience for her patients.

Outside of work, Dr Mahdieh enjoys hiking, outdoor adventures, travelling and spending time with friends.

Priyanka Vanama

Priyanka graduated from Central Queensland University in Rockhampton and is committed to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles. With a dual qualification in Hygiene and Therapy, she can provide comprehensive care, from routine exams and cleans to restorative treatment for children and adults.

Her main focus is reducing patient anxiety and creating a playful and fun environment for children, so they look forward to coming back. With additional knowledge and training in Orofacial Myology, Priyanka takes a holistic approach to healthcare and understands how muscle function and airways can influence dental development.
She is passionate about early intervention and loves to educate patients on how to be proactive with their health.

Outside the clinic, she loves to spend time with her young daughter and family, bake and wind down with a good book to read.

Dr Richard Outridge

Farewell dear friend

One of a kind does not come close to describing Richard Outridge, fondly known as Dick by his Army mates. His quick wit and cheeky sense of humour were qualities we were all fond of. Even after he put down the tools, he was our favourite visitor. The team loved when he was around, there was a buzz within the practice and always laughter. At home he was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. Richard loved his home and his family, and often enjoyed a Sav Blanc or two on their deck overlooking the breathtaking views. We know he would be endlessly grateful to Mel for caring for him the way she did. It allowed him to stay home,

in the place he loved so much with the women he loved so much, until his last days. He was so proud of Mel and her passion for her artwork, and we know he’ll be watching over her and in awe of her future pieces.

His patients fondly remember him as gentle, caring and just the sweetest man. He had a loyal patient following of over 30 years from the Army to private practice in Strathpine, Albany Creek and Samford Village. A local through and through, it’s only fitting that his final practice was within the community he cherished. He had a calmness about him that soothed the most anxious of patients and a kindness that was felt throughout the practice. With Mel by his side there as nothing they couldn’t accomplish together, and the legacy they’ve left in Samford is a testament to that.

Mel would like to personally thank every single patient of the practice, you weren’t just patients, you became friends and family. Richard loved being a dentist and it was never a chore for him. He was one of the lucky ones who found a job he loved, and he never worked a day in his life. Dentistry and helping people were truly his passion, and you, his wonderful patients made that a reality for him. I hope you all know how special you were to him.

Please know that although Richard had been unwell, we never expected him to pass. His passing was sudden and a shock to those closest to him. Richard passed 3rd October 2023, and was farewelled at the Lake View Chapel, Albany Creek Crematorium on October 27th 2023.

Dr Claire Luckman graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2002. Over the years, Claire has built a strong foundation in general dentistry, with particular interests in sleep dentistry and managing dental anxiety. Known for a compassionate approach and exceptional patient care, she creates a calm and welcoming environment for all patients.

Claire is a Samford local, and after working in a range of practices over her career, she is excited to bring her knowledge to her local community. She strongly believes in the importance of personalised care and strives to build strong relationships with every patient, ensuring they feel heard and supported.

Outside of the clinic, Claire is a busy Mum of 3 and practices and instructs Aerial Circus Arts.
